Thank you! I know it seems petty but it's a safety thing
Could be worsecould be worse
Reports are anonymous. Not that someone couldn't guess it was you, but your name isn't on record.
Leave a blanket or 2 out. If you drag an old trash can down there too I’m sure the litter problem would be resolved. Otherwise the only “safety concern” I’m hearing is for the people without a way to get warm…
Thank you for being 0% helpful. They actually pass my trash cans and they are about 5 feet away from where they are kept. Additionally, I caught on camera someone walking alongside my house peeking into my basement windows. So yeah it's a safety concern for me, a 25 year old home owner who lives alone. Additionally locked cars on the street have been broken into in recent weeks. They can go get warm at a shelter and stay the fuck of private property thanks
I'm not too concerned about that, just want the owners of that house to give a shit. Thanks!
Yeah encouraging homeless people to stay Nextdoor is a big no from any responsible person
Lmao only 25 and already acting like a paranoid shut-in boomer watching all your surveillance? Yikes. Why do people like you live in the city if you’re such cowards? Why do you assume the people breaking into cars have anything to do with these people? You’re basing most of this on your paranoid imagination.

It's called being vigilant. My dog woke up in the middle of the night after hearing something that's why camera was checked. Why would a normal person press their face up to someone's back basement windows? After climbing over a fence. I don't care to hear their intention. That's a potentially dangerous situation You and the unhoused can go trespass all you want. Me asking for a number was the better option, I could just shoot them. It's my castle homie
Thank you! I chatted with 311. I would just like the flippers to better secure their property. I'm of the If you see something say something mind set
LMFAO are you really here, typing out deranged nonsensical paragraphs telling me to touch grass? You come off as someone who has serious mental problems.
You're a cowardly keyboard warrior and nothing more. Please go elsewhere with your insanity.
Absolutely. Luckily, they opened up a brand new homeless shelter this season, and the church down the street also opens their doors when it's cold. My neighbors securing their property is harmless and safe for everyone
Lol this made me laugh! it could Def be worse!
I’m sure that’s your deepest fantasy. Regardless you never mentioned anything about people looking in your basement in your OP, so my response was a genuine suggestion. Crazy to suggest compassion to a person like you, apparently.
I said what I needed too. I wasn't trying to villainize unhoused people. You clearly don't own your residence, or you'd get the Duty I feel to protect and secure my property , as well as my neighbors.
Apparently-13 down votes liked it as much as you
I get the frustration but maybe try to talk to the owner/ person working on the house first. If you’re frustrated I’m sure other people around are too, you can try asking them if they know what’s up and know how to get it sorted in a neighborly way.
Is the issue regarding possible homeless people that they are walking through your yard or that they are in the shed?
Yeah I haven't seen them in a few months, they aren't at the property often. Other neighbors say they come back to work on it every few weeks, so that doesn't seem like an option or else I so would! I don't really have a say in what happens to a shed not on my property (even tho I think the shattered windows should be secured to avoid entrance) My problem is they enter my property, peering into my house , to get to the shed. So if the shed was secure would this happen? Would my dog wake up hearing commotion on my property? Footprints all over my back yard from the night before (thanks snow for the evidence) Don't know but would like to explore than avenue

You can report them to Code Enforcement, or use the online 311 reporting form.
