They’re all over Frick park. I was walking my dogs and they asked me if I’d seen a Black man with dreads running.

It sounds like they're looking for someone specific here, but man it's gotta suck to be profiled just for running in a public park... It's 50 degrees out in January, everyone who enjoys walking/running/biking was out taking advantage of the weather today.

That's not profiling.

If you care to educate me on what it is, by all means do so. Investigating every black runner in a large public park seems like casting a very wide net.

In this case it was a homicide suspect who was trying to escape through the park. I was asked the same thing, and I did happen to see the guy (he was running off the trail along the parkway wall) and the guy was a black man with dreads.

Edit, more specifically wearing a forest green hoodie and grey pants.

Seems like YOU are the one who added “every” to the search.

It's a general description, because they don't have all the info, and most bystanders won't observe all that much, but dreads stick out, and if he was running from the cops he's probably a) running, and b) not dressed for it. Good thing John fetterman wasn't there, he'd probably whip out shotgun and stumble through a simple sentence after limping over to the perp.

Man this is just too clever for the Internet. You should get a job writing for a comedy show!
