hi! I’m looking for recommendations for an accountant or tax professional to help file my taxes this year! Usually I do it myself but I opened a 401k and have W-2’s from 2 states this year. I’m a student around oakland but willing to drive in order to drop off documents/meet the accountant. Thanks!

This doesn't sound all that complicated. You should be able to file yourself unless you're looking to use your time for other endeavors.

You could probably get by with a jackson hewitt or some such place and get them filed electronically. You didn't live in that other state right?

Cotton Mather is great but you should probably be good without the assistance!

Quicken can handle all of that for a fraction of the cost of a CPA

I heard that AARP will do them for free for anyone, regardless of age. They do all the prep and then you mail it in
