School fisticuffs aren’t county wide - they are funded by local taxes, so to send your child to a school you need to live within the town/city etc whose property taxes fund it.
Many districts will allow you to pay tuition to attend, but at that point you’re paying often more than private school tuition.

I know a family who lived in The Rocks and rented a small 1br apartment in Sewickley to establish residency so their daughter could go to Quaker Valley.
A lot of kids near me in Hopewell actually live in Aliquippa, but "use grandma's address" to come to Hopewell. There was a big stink a few years ago because they caught and expelled a few kids.
Not saying it's legal or moral. I'm of the very very small minority that think we should merge with Aliquippa SD the way Center and Monaca did to form Central Valley.
