I don’t know a lot about Korean food either, so can’t really tell how authentic it is, but everything was great, there was a big selection of plates to try and I really liked the atmosphere of this place.

I’ve never had their BBQ, but Oya Sushi in Castle Shannon has always been delicious. We eat the sushi, and their BBQ tables have never been empty when we’ve been there.

EDIT: I misread ( I talked about KBBQ restaurants not the one in Carnegie which isn't really a KBBQ restaurant) but I'll keep my post here as a wall of shame. Go for the LA Galbi it's always the best intro for most people not well versed in Korean food. Below paragraphs are unrelated to the post...

There's really no legit ones here in Pittsburgh. Cobra is the closest but honestly for the price is a literal highway robbery.

As for items, galbi especially the marinated variety is best IMO. Samgyupsal and beef brisket slices (both not flavored) are usually staples. Plus points if you can eat and enjoy intestine (gopchang).
