There’s Rescue and Relax in Edgewood. I’ve never been there myself and it’s closed for the holidays until Jan 6 but it has good reviews on Google.

I've been there, it's a nice little place. The owner is a very nice lady and active here on the sub, her username slips my mind at the moment but I guarantee she'll chime in.

Careful or you'll go home with a bucket of cats.

When it open's up again in January, the lounge's normal open hours are Fri-Mon 3pm - 8pm. There are also regular events like Cat Yoga and D&D nights. The lounge is part of a larger animal rescue operation. The lounge's is primarily where people can come to meet the adoptable cats in a safe, friendly environment, where they get to play around, roam freely and show off their true cat personalities.https://www.rescueandrelax.com/the-lounge/

There was a guy shooting cats with a bow and arrow a few years ago in Brookline.

So not Brookline.
