I have lived in both places. I don't really think they're comparable. Firstly, the food they're known for is so different- subs and snacks vs burgers and fried food.
Secondly, Sheetz is allergic to urban locations, a car is pretty necessary to find one. We don't actually have a single one in the city of Pittsburgh. It's a true gas station chain. Wawa has a large number of locations with no gas pumps at all and tons of locations in urban or high-density suburbs.
So if you're an urbanite who loves subs, Wawa is for you. If you're suburban/rural and prefer burgers and fries, Sheetz is your place. If you live in Pittsburgh the city, you're SOL because we have neither lol

If you care at all enough to shill for your favorite gas station corporation, you’re a dope.

This is the correct answer. Sheetz is good for warm prepared foods, but I think Wawa hoagies are pretty decent.

Sometimes I feel like this debate is comparing apples to oranges. They serve pretty different menus of stuff and which one you’ll prefer really depends on what you’re looking to eat.
I like living in the city of Pittsburgh so naturally I am cursed with a lack of Sheetz locations. However, I do generally prefer their “fried food” menu of garbage over Wawa’s more upscale/healthy menu, so I lean towards Sheetz in my own personal preference. I travel to Philly a lot though and I always stuff myself with Wawa while I’m there. Big fan of their buffalo mac & cheese. This is my unironic take.
That being said, I happily defend Sheetz to the death to participate in a good natured rivalry with eastern PA.
WAWA? MORE LIKE CACA, AM I RIGHT?? This is my ironic take.
