If I walked into a bank (which inexplicably had this much cash) and robbed them of $15M, how much jail time would I get?

20 years, a $250,000 fine, or both—for ANY amount taken by force. Though the maximums are usually reserved for large amounts stolen and/or violent actions.
Bank robbery is a federal offense, so you’d be punished pretty severely.
Heck, people get arrested for trying to pass a bad check they don’t even know the writer of the instrument can’t cover, and have been arrested for joking about robbing a bank with a teller—despite no intention to do so, nor having any weapons on them at the time.

Pretty sure that treatment is reserved for when YOU are the person who wrote the bad check. If you're depositing a cash or check someone else gave you, you'll just get a fee. Possibly unless youve done this a bunch of times and they're on to you
