I can do that. $10 a sq ft with carpet removal.

I’d love to know how far this is off from the actual market value, because for $10/sqft I’d install LVP full time lol

You can look up market value for any trade. I am near the top end for what Google says for flooring installation. But contractors are in high demand right now so it's really not that crazy.

Also, getting jobs is an absolute grind. People complain about contractors being flakey but people in general just are flakey. 8/10 people don't respond to quotes or reddit threads. I do well enough on the 2/10 that respond but trust me, it's not all gravy.

4/10 in difficulty’s easy do it yourself project.

7/10 times DIY flooring projects I see in person are done horribly. True, it's not hard but I think for the average Joe it can be.

So 11/10 it’s going to go well

Sorry I just build houses and math is not my forte... but that seems off to me.

The hardest part is having to get up and down 1000x to cut. If you have someone to cut while you tap in place it goes faster. There are plank floor cutters that just chop it, no power tool involved and if you get a cheap profile conforming tool to do weird cuts it also helps.
