Yes, you can place a stamp on it and put it in any USPS mailbox just like you would a letter.
Just be sure to follow the instructions, use both envelopes, and sign and date the outside envelope. Also try and mail it ASAP. It usually takes a few days.
They are also offering extended hours downtown at the County building specifically for ballot drop off (Ross Street entrance).

Monday, October 31-Friday, November 4 8:30 AM to 8 PM
Saturday, November 5 9 AM to 5 PM
Sunday, November 6 11 AM to 7 PM
Monday, November 7 8:30 AM to 8 PM

I've been doing that and it is so easy. It's drive up so no need to find or pay for parking. The officials guide you in, walk inside to drop your ballot and BAM!! you're done. Like in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Not even 5 minutes. The longest part is walking from the street to the door lol. The people there are SO FRIENDLY too.
