Best Local Restaurant for a Birthday

I'm looking to take my boyfriend somewhere local for his birthday. We both love beer and are always looking for a good burger or fried chicken. Any suggestions on local eateries would be appreciated 😌

Free shake at Burgatory! I know some people don't like, I don't know why since I like having fun experimenting with burger combinations, but I think their shakes are great especially when free.

I don't mind Burgatory in general but after getting a shake to go and forgetting about it in my car - and 4 hours later it being just as thick as when it was frozen - that's turned me off to them. I'm sure it's just heavy cream, maybe a thickener, but I can't unsee it.
