There's a newish one in Lebanon Shops that's decent: https://goo.gl/maps/5zqQNtoDU1F7pFP57

They don't have a wide variety, but the folks in there are really nice, and could likely get you what you need if you ask. It's nothing like Lotus, but they are still somewhat new, and slowly growing their inventory.

There are several Nepalese stores in Whitehall/Baldwin and a quick Google search gave me a shop in Mt Lebo and one further south on 51. None of these seem to be as good as Lotus or Oriental Market. I personally would just make the trek up North.

Where do you suggest up north?

Like others have mentioned Lotus and Oriental Market in the Strip, but I personally make the trek up McKnight Rd to the new Oriental Market by the mall. I also frequent Seoul Mart in Oakland solely (haha) for their in house kimchi.

Just go to the strip once a month and stock up. It's not worth trying to piece it together in the South Hills. North Hills has it good with Oriental Market on McKnight.

We typically do the trip to the north hills once a month and use the one at the Mt Lebo strip to fill in. It’s gotten better since it opened.
