Is that the expiration date or the manufacture date? you can always bring it back and they will exchange it.

Valid question, I didn't think of that — there's no other date listed anywhere on the package so I assume it's expiration (isn't that required)?

Expiration dates are mainly marketing. They're only required a small # of foods and there's no real science behind those either.

It is the best by date.
The manufacturing date is below it. The 0308 in the code is the month and the date it was made.
