I’m training for the marathon and have a few big runs left in my training plan. I’ve been running loops at north park and am pretty burnt out on that route. Any recommendations?

Agree to these and also adding roaring run trail in Apollo
I used to do a loop around Washington's Landing then head down to Heinz Field and back. Really good, scenic run.
What was the rough mileage on that?
I used to drive to homestead shopping plaza where the AMC cinema is, park by eat n park and run the trail out of the city towards McKeesport. You run along a railway line, past the bottom of kennywood. If you want to go far enough you can cross the pedestrian bridge across the river into McKeesport. Cool run.
You could also park at Millvale and run along the river into and through the city all the way up to the old jail on the Ohio river and back. Could be a bit dicey though with all the encampments along that stretch of the river now, don’t do it near dusk or when there’s not many people around imho.
Not in pgh but moraine state park has loads of paved trails. Marshall township has miles and miles of crushed limestone trails and sidewalks and you can also run along the road because it's a pretty quiet area. Park in thorn hill industrial park.
About 8 miles per the onthego.com map.
Panhandle Trail, GAP, Montour Trail, Butler Freeport Trail, North Park
If you don't mind sidewalks in certain spots, Schenely Park has great trails and can link with Southside trail, CMU, squirrel hill, greenfield. Fun way to explore the city.
One suggestion would be to park at millvale riverfront park, take the trail towards the casino. You’ll then take the west end bridge where you’ll run along west Carson. You’ll make a left into the station square incline parking lot area where you’ll be able to access the GAP trail & can continue on for your desired mileage. Or skip all that, park at the station sq lot and run the gap trail from station square.
I personally avoid the trails unless I’m doing a speed workout bc I get bored on them. I prefer to actually run the marathon course itself to get used to the hills etc but I understand not everyone enjoys running on sidewalks.
Harrison Hills is a little north of the city but tons of well maintained trails link to blazed trail map
