Used to love the attic for deals on used records, but now everything is a $35-55 reissue. There's a basement I haven't been down to see, maybe that's where the deals are hiding.

There is plenty of used in new arrivals and on the shelves. If you want a VG+ copy of something not in super demand you are typically looking at $8. A little more beat up copy but fine for listening go to jerrys for $3-5. Jerrys son is running the warehouse on Saturdays in Swissvale too. Almost everything is $5

This isn’t really a knock on the attic specifically. It’s still a great store. Record prices have exploded everywhere in the past 5 years. Jerry’s prices also went up when Jerry retired.

Chris bought Jerry's from Jerry and made a lot of changes and yes prices are crazy high on anything remotely good

Way back when most everything at Jerry's was $2.83.

I was just in Jerrys and they have it really well organized and still found plenty. Its not like they repriced anything. Even got jerrys writing on them which I love finding

I didn't know this. I've been there pre and post flood. I know there was a lot of stuff that was rumored to be lost and unsalvageable. There might not be anything worth it down there. I haven't even seen a way to get in there in the front or in the stacks / small sideroom.
