Trying to get my car inspected, cant find the registration card. I can't find it in my email. I have no idea what my title number is to get a replacement printed.

Any ideas? I don't know why I need to carry this thing around, if you get pulled over they can see the vehicles registration status by looking up your license plate. /end rant

If you've got the plate number and title number (hopefully kept separate from the car) you can look it up online and print a dupe for free. Don't be confused if it looks like it's just for renewals--the download a duplicate of current registration option will come up on the third page.

Are you still making payments on the car? I had a leased vehicle and ran into the same situation, and I was able to get the title number by calling the lender. The number would be on your bill or online account for customer service.

This actually was what I ended up doing, thank you! I had no way of finding the title number, but Toyota got it for me within 5 minutes

if you're an AAA member, check with them, they should be able to help.

If you renewed online, check to see if you still have the email they sent you with the renewal and you can print another.

Also you don't need to carry it around. Just leave it in your glove box w- your insurance card. Then you'll never have to worry about losing it.
