Interesting, I only figured the after 6 rule and sundays only applies to metered parking. So I can park basically almost anywhere that requires a permit after 6 PM or on Sundays?

Yeah, the parking authority isn't staffed 24/7.
(But the regular police will still ticket you for blocking hydrants/driveways/bike lanes/etc)
