Looking to plan a special weekend later this spring and looking for hotels in the region that have rooms with large in room whirlpool tubs or hot tub. We know of one in Monroeville, Comfort Suites on Mosside Blvd, but it's a little outside our preferred area (North/West/City Center) and not many restaurants in the area we're excited about.

Anyone know any others?

Generally don't see those type of amenities in city proper. Rooms are small; 2 person hot tubs are big.

valley motel on freeport road has heart-shaped tubs! cheap and mildly sketchy, but in a fun way.

It’s shocking to me how common this question is on this subreddit, I have never really considered it before it was mentioned here… anyways, the Fairmont is probably your best bet.

Got a room there years ago for a hot tub night with my wife (gf/fiance at the time). Got woke up at like 3 in the morning to pounding on the wall and a woman crying out. Thought holy shit some girl is getting killed in the room next door. Then it became a bang bang bang against the wall and the woman is screaming now. I realized it was the headboard of their bed hitting the wall and her screams were not the murdered kind..

You’ll find it on a rental around town or in town but not a hotel at your preferred radius closest is comfort inn green tree Robinson. I’d vrbo.com a nice pad instead

Think about why you may want to get a room with a hot tub. Then think about why everyone else before you may have wanted one. Now think about how much you trust someone to clean said hot tub before you get there.

If I were you, I'd probably bring a gallon of bleach with me.

Hotel Monaco has rooms that I believe are called spa suites. No hot tub, but they have massive Japanese soaking tubs. Big fan, have stayed there several times with my partner legit for the tub. I spend afternoons browsing the internet for 5,000 dollar soaking tubs. I am a changed man after the soaking tub.

It's so much better now than the 00's. I used to deliver pizza for the shop below the Ft. Pitt Inn (bar next door, different owners same name-ish). It used to be all wood paneling and the doors to the 2 "pocono touch" suites were the cheapest, lightest interior hollow-core doors - let's just say many times delivering there you could hear everything going on inside.

Now that they've had a bit of a renovation, I'd consider staying there actually. If it hasn't changed hands, the owners were super nice and friendly. And it's in a good neighborhood.

Ya the area itself is a good neighborhood, and I've never heard a bad word about the place. It always just struck me as a stereotypical sketchy roadside motel. I did see on Google Maps that the place has been updated, so they must be doing OK to afford that, and I'm glad to see a small business doing well.
