Slyfox had a taproom downtown.

Just across the river north you've got VooDoo's taproom, a Southern Tier satellite, 412 brewing, 4 points brewing, Allegheny City Brewing (my fav).

Edit: federal galley is fun too if your group is in the mood for different food.

Edit: For a more serious answer, I would say Mitchell's, Forbes Tavern, or Genoa, in ascendening order of distance. The ones near the arena are pretty bad.

Nana's is closed on the weekend (and a bit of a hike from the arena if you're not doing anything else on the Northside)
