Safe is a relative term. Generally, it's fine.

OP, you're not taking the bus into town. You're going to take an Uber with your sister, like you've told us for months. Stop asking questions about places that you have zero intention of visiting. We've been through this before.

What you're doing is not research. What you're doing is asking ridiculous one-off questions in an attempt to prove to yourself that you're able to make this trip.

You'll be fine. It is impossible to be 100% prepared for every possible scenario, like you're doing, and if you keep this up, the only thing you'll have gained from harassing people in this sub for almost a solid year is getting kicked from it because you won't listen to reason.

Wait has he really been asking questions like this frequently?

It’s safe, just shabby. Not exactly an enjoyable place to hang out but nobody’s gonna stick a gun in your face.

I've never had a problem. Arrive 30 minutes early and there will likely be a line at your departure door so you can wait with the other folks.

It's fine. No police presence but there's nothing good to rob and it's usually well populated and without a lot of nooks and crannies. If you're a woman, bring mace and a rape whistle around your neck. Sit near other women, away from the restrooms and supply closet. You'll be fine. If you're a dude carrying cash, dress like a hobo and don't flash the cash and you'll be fine.

Outside tends to have panhandlers though I’m not down there enough to know if they’re problematic. I have no idea about the inside.

Stay in Ohio. It’s more your speed.

OP isn't an idiot, they're neurodivergent and having trouble socially. However, OP also tends to not read the things that people post for them in an attempt to help, which is why we're here almost every week dealing with it.

OP - You've got all the info you need to be able to make your trip a success. Stop asking us about it. Seriously. Do NOT ask another question about hotels, reviews, how much things cost, or where the "best places for" anything are located.

Maybe they should not be using a social space as a search engine and stop being suspicious of the piles of genuine advice people have so generously provided?

So the guy is ND and having issues? Let's be neighbors and understand that then react accordingly by ignoring it, reporting it, even maybe idk scroll past instead of jumping down his throat since he clearly has enough on his plate and not a lot of practical tools to manage it.

It's fine never has an issue. Sometimes they don't let you use the bathroom unless you are waiting on a bus so you can just walk around the building to the other entrance for the parking garage and use the one in there lmao

Safe to you get on the bus. 20 years ago I took a Greyhound home from college. Two folks behind me were having sex in the seats behind me. I'll give you the blowjob, but when the full out sex started, that was enough. If I didn't think the guy could kick my ass, I would have said something. The sounds, smells, still stick with me to this day. Never rode Greyhound again.

I've been there in the middle of the night a couple times, I felt fine.

Make sure you check that your bus in on time before you leave. Last time I didn't and had to waste 4 hours. But on the way back the arrival time kept jumping around and I made it just in time.

I've been there before. There are a few people begging outside but the interior is perfectly fine. There's an okay-but-not-great greasy spoon breakfast restaurant built-in depending on when you get there.
