I wanted to get some extra oxygen flowing in my apartment and learned about the Areca Palm and how much oxygen it gives off, so I’m trying to find one locally to bring home. Anybody know where I could find one?

According to google pretty much anywhere that sells plants. Lowe's was the #1 Google answer.

Lowe's and several other big chains don't have them in stores, it's all shipped. It would most likely be dead on arrival or within a week traveling through all the cold weather states to here.

No promises, but Ikea might. They have a small live plant section between the showroom and the stock warehouse in the location in Robinson. I had a different type of palm that I got there which was healthy and did really well in my apartment. If memory serves, they also had something that looked just like this type you're seeking.

Look into snake plant / mother in laws tongue too for oxygen generating. Plus they are pretty much indestructible.

Maybe at Citygrows. One in Lawrenceville and another in the produce terminal building in the strip.
