Well you obviously heard about it somehow. Could've said "according to [xyz source]" like a school alert, police scanner, etc. I didn't say it had to be a news source or internet link.

A general rule is you shouldn't make any kind of alarming claim without some kind of source.

You're really going to be that pedantic? It's literally a block over what is absolutely Manchester. And when Manchester Academic Charter School was locked down with police presence within Manchester, it certainly was accurate.

Nah. If there is a person who shot someone and is still on the run and could potentially have shot others or could be in the process of shooting others prior to law enforcement arriving, it's considered an active shooter event. It's literally the protocol that was followed by businesses during the lockdown. Maybe you should go down there and tell them all they need to change their protocols because it doesn't align with your definition.
