You would think as a professional driver and driving a city bus. They would know by now not to pull in the middle of the intersection in traffic. Completely blocking the entire intersection. Not to mention is a damn double lol.

I find most of the drivers are pretty good, but the ones that do shit like this are almost always driving the double buses. I guess go big or go home.

I’d almost rather it be a car or 2 doing that rather than these double buses. At least I can maneuver around a car if need be. But these buses are stopping traffic every direction pretty much by doing this.

I think they kind of have to. No one is going to voluntarily let a double bus in. I imagine you have to drive really aggressively to get a bus like that anywhere during rush hour in the city

Sure, there’s definitely situations when that could be necessary. I could see that. But I don’t think that applies here. This area is infested with traffic lights. I just don’t see the need to block an entire intersection instead of waiting for one red light.

I’ve had an issue that I can’t understand downtown and Oakland. When there are 2 similar route busses back to back, the 2nd one will be empty and they don’t want to let you on.

They’ll huff and point out that I could’ve gotten on the other more crowded bus. I don’t talk back but I’m thinking “are you not a fucking bus?”

Don't blame the drivers. Blame the city for cutting PAT/PRT consistently for the past thirty plus years
