There's no need to exploit animals for their lactation, and I haven't heard a good justification why it's ok. Take the literal sign as a reason to stop

So when I worked at a grocery store (not in dairy mind) there was a daily limit of how many gallons if milk they could put down the drain. It was relatively small, like 10 gallons or something. So if anything more than 10 spoiled you'd have to do it over several days.

I went to a Target near me recently and just happened to grab milk from a suspiciously almost empty fridge. As I was walking around the store, I think I heard what looked like a manager say into her radio “you took all the milk products out, right?” Well, I needed milk, and the person at the register didn’t say anything when she scanned it through. Didn’t seem to be bad as I used it…

Definitely food storage violations for the milk in crates, oj, and single gallon of milk not being 4-6 inches off the ground. Don't remember exact requirements/ too lazy to look it up.

This was first posted yesterday.

In the original post, the fridge unit was faulty that's why they weren't selling the milk

People repost so damn fast these days they don't take the time to read the original post

It’s not a repost lol. this is my photo. I took this picture. That’s my reflection in the glass. I haven’t seen any other posts about this

But you’re right. It was first posted yesterday…by ME

I know that they artificially inseminate their cows. The alternative breeds risk for diseases and std's. It's actually safer to do so because regardless cows are going to be born to provide milk for people to drink.

But I know you're not gonna change your opinion on this, neither am I. Have a good one.

But that kinda smears the business as well. "We're not doing it" is a quick and vague response, anything more specific but just as quick sounds like maybe they shut it down for health code reasons, maybe it won't be working tomorrow, it invites more questions and doubt about the business than "we just aren't doing it now". Heck maybe it's just staffing, maybe if they spread their staff out into doing popcorn too then customers will start being stuck in line while their movie starts, maybe that happened an hour before you got there and they just had to refund a bunch of angry people. They dont owe us an explanation as to what is going on behind the scenes, it's quite literally their business. Why do you deserve to know why they aren't doing it? Because your wife WANTED popcorn? Grow up.

Wouldn't stop some stores from selling it. One store local to me is massively suspect when it comes to dairy that I wouldn't doubt it for a minute that they'd do this.

They arent allowed to sell it past the expiration date, even though those dates are really just suggestions.

You’re misunderstanding. I’m saying that the expiration date printed on the milk is 2 weeks into the future.

I took this picture on January 28. The expiration on the milk is February 12.

Posted in two separate subs. And both posts were yesterday. Even this post. I’m not out here chain posting the same stuff over multiple days. So yes, it was posted yesterday because this post is from yesterday

And the original content accused me of ripping off another post…which is not the case as this is my picture lol

treading_ink_ t1_j6epjl6 wrote

He didn’t accuse you of anything. He said “This was posted yesterday.” Which is true as you just admitted.

You said you haven’t seen any other posts about it, which is a lie because you just said you posted it to another group.

That’s a repost, my guy. It doesn’t have to be in the same sub to be a repost when you literally reposted it to another sub.

1

ProjectMew OP t1_j6eqest wrote

Did you even read the parent comment?

Dude says “in the original post the fridge unit was faulty”…Then he says “people repost so damn fast these days they don’t take the time to read the original post”…I WROTE THE MF ORIGINAL POST. And in that original post I never said the fridge was faulty. It’s an accusation that I’m reposting someone else’s post.

And fine. Call it a repost by your standards. Idc. But I’m not sure most would agree with your assertion that posting your own original content in multiple subs qualifies as a repost. Its just stupid for them to tell me I ripped off my own content lol
