Cool! I wonder if you could put a backlight in there? Would it do anything to the image?

There are other artists who have experimented with adding lights inside an Etch A Sketch with super cool results! It's akin to a Jack-o-lantern. Here's one example using black light paint from my friend /u/etchartist
