That’s awesome haha. I have an early 1950s rotary phone (WE 5302) in my house and anyone younger than about 20 has serious trouble figuring out how to dial it haha. Guess none of them had one of these as a kid

I have mine hooked up to a modern IP phone switch via an analog station card installed in the switch. It actually natively supports converting the pulse dial signal into a modern SIP trunk (VoIP service) which means I can have the best of both worlds, no expensive monthly landline fees and can still use my nice old phone. It’s great.

Kids will have no connection from this to a telephone. They’ll probably think it’s some weird robot or something.
