Sorry for your loss. I was raised 150 feet from the Mississippi River and my parents lost everything including pictures. They had a chance to get out a few pieces of furniture, and their clothes. The house was like yours, totally destroyed but was razed completely due to changing building regulations to save money on flood insurance coverage and was not permitted to be rebuilt. Good luck to your family.
