In dorm room for secondary school my friend went, they removed these kettles after some caretakers make coffee from sausage water.

You can heat up all kinds of cheap meals with hotel coffee makers, and make things like Ramen as well.

Just clean it after, they don’t pay the maids enough for that crap.

You can alternatively boil water in the kettle and use a thermal insulated mug to cook your hot dogs in. That way you aren’t leaving hot dog residue in the tea kettle.
