The rise in people not caring about the health and safety of other people by bringing the pets to bars, Targets and grocery stores is out of control. The arrogance it takes to believe that you are special enough to take your pet anywhere you go is mind-boggling to me, but not nearly as much as the entitlement people have when you tell them to leave their pets at home. They are called house pets for a reason.

Take my upvote. I’m so tired of seeing trembling yorkies sitting in grocery store carts where I put my food, and “emotional support” pitbulls walking around Walmart.

I agree bringing pets around is annoying but I’m a bit worried and had to ask. Do you not wash, rinse, or cook the food you put in your carts/bags? Because like, you really should.

I’m in Nashville right now and saw a couple who brought two dogs to a loud live music bar on the strip. The dog doesn’t like it, how can you not see that. People really can be the worst.

Well that's nice but this is a partially outdoor bar that's specifically pet friendly.

I used to help run a brewery and we’d have people bring their dogs in all of the time. It blew my mind. THIS IS A BREWERY! If you don’t want weird things floating in the air, able to get into the beer, leave your damn dogs at home. We’d send them off immediately, and each and every single one of them would bitch. People are such entitled assholes these days, it sucks.

Same. I’ve gone to Home Depot, which states on their website that pets are not allowed in store because people walk around with their dogs in store. They do it because this particular manager allows it. First time I saw it happen I saw 3 different dogs in the store and asked the lady at checkout about it. She told me that the workers don’t like it and some have phobias about being around dogs but people keep doing it. She also said that they had 2 dogs go at each other at the self checkout. My son is both allergic and not comfortable around big dogs due to being attacked and bitten. When I posted about it in my local discord I was labeled a Karen and told they typical “my dog is my baby” bullshit. When I go to a store I just want to get what I need and be on my way, I don’t want to dodge you pet.

Nope, I’m sick of it too. I was at Whole Foods a couple weeks back when a woman walked in with a German Shepard and headed straight for the prepared foods section. Thing was right at eye level with the food bar and she was having to hold it back from running over and licking everything.

Hope you enjoy also putting your groceries in that cart where 4 children of all ages and smeared shit Stains and their own funk all over. And don't forget that baby seat right where you keep your fresh produce has had a million babies dirty ass diapers on it.

The fuck you been shopping?

Every cart in America has seen its fair share of baby ass and grim.

I was at a bar while on vacation the other day. Two dogs were in the bar just going crazy constantly barking at each other. One was a service dog. Owners didn't care. 🤷

As long as the cat stays in the bag and it's in the front area that's cleaned a lot, I don't care too much.
I'm not going to lie I don't care much even if the cat is walking around, but I can see other people caring.

Well, humans can be even more discusting. And pet owners should get some leeway as long as they are reasonable.
TheNakedPrune t1_jdz9lua wrote
Why should they get leeway?
