You are right, it is a DC-3, however it has been modified and fitted with modern turbo engines that go faster and are more efficient than the regular DC-3 engines.

I’ve a colleague that’s made the press corp trip, I’m sure we both are eager to see pictures. His tour was decades ago, I bet he’d trade his house for a ride on this aircraft.
