This can’t be the first time I’m hearing about this creature. Going to google now to see if it’s the base for pikachu

Edit: nope. https://www.altpress.com/pokemon_pikachu_based_off_squirrel_not_mouse_pokemon_creator_reveals/ Pikachu was based on a squirrel. Pikas are unrelated. Strange.
