Super photoshopped. Antlers are literally spears for deer. They don’t grow like that.

I'm actually relieved. If they grew like that naturally, I can only imagine it would keep curling down until it impaled the deer in the head.

Deer lose their antlers every year. Once the velvet is off them, they're done growing for the season.

They can actually grow like that. Antlers can be imperfect as anything else that has cells that grow. You don't see imperfect antlers as often because imperfect ones are a disadvantage in the game of life for them.

There's also a typical deer antler scoring guideline for hunting that has a point system. Certain imperfections drop your score like drop tines or a spread less than 13 inches(which actually disqualifies you from scoring).

As for the photo, I'm sure it's been altered but it's not as far-fetched as you'd think.

Also, if you take a photo of a set of large antlers from below, they do go into a kind of misshapen heart. Not quit as rounded off as this photo, because they typically go straight out at the ends. But I'd imagine you could get a photo of a heart shaped set of antlers naturally with position of the photo and the right combo of imperfections.
