meteor this evening?

driving back towards south philly from the southwest at about 5:25 PM i saw what must have been a meteor. small, bright (even only in twilight with lots of light pollution), and very fast moving. anyone else see it?

I did not but it's likely! While it's not the most famous of the meteor showers, the 'Quadrantids' are going on now. They already peaked last week but there should be a few more visible until around Jan 16th.

I saw it too! At first I thought it was just like the glare off of something or just my imagination, but now that you posted this it confirms it for me.
