What if there is an emergency where someone drove from one location to another to help a friend or family desperately in need? Should they find a spot first or let them die?

What if an emergency vehicle needed to access the train yard or apartment buildings on either side of the U-Haul and was forced to wait or turn around and waste time so the person they were trying to help died?

That's just as (or more) probable than your "gotcha" situation to defend double parking - are you running for city council?

Still a dick move, but Girard's been open since Friday.

It still looks closed off from 31st- can you scoot down & around to get up across the bridge now?

Yup, it's completely open end-to-end. They finished off the paving on the bridge over the rails a bit after noon on Friday.

Good stuff! Thanks for letting me know. I haven't looked past the blockade by Aldi in weeks

So you can see the guys who rented the uhaul, but your course of action is to yell about it on Reddit?

Clockwise or counterclockwise?

Having moved into Brewerytown, people don’t seem to listen to the “don’t park here” signs. I get that it’s frustrating, but people need to move and in some cases there’s really no other option but to block a one way street

Having lived in brewerytown for years, it is hard but blocking the whole street isn't acceptable.

People need to do better

When I moved in to brewerytown we parked the uhaul in front of a hydrant and just had one person stay with the truck the whole time in case we needed to move it. Worked like a charm.

Get a permit, then. That’s exactly what they’re for.

maybe a dick move but, have you ever moved?

Many times, and I never blocked an entire street to do it.

Selfish, inconsiderate shitbags seem to be taking over everywhere.

Yes and you get a permit and park your truck in a parking spot that you reserved
