Has anybody else had problems with missing packages from FedEx? There's a picture of the package in front of my door but they never rang the doorbell. This is the 4th package in a row where this has happened. I don't have this problem with ups or usps. Makes me think something shady is going on with fedex.

UPS never rings the doorbell for me either.

Once you have a tracking number, FedEx allows you to reroute a package to a local pickup for free. Doesn't help for your last 4 packages, but moving forward you can try to eliminate the thievery!

If I have an expensive package from FedEx I route it straight to Walgreens

We had a problem near me where it turns out the Amazon driver was stealing the fedex packages- it took someone setting up a camera to catch it.

Are you sure it’s your door? I’ve had the worst luck for FedEx. For a while they couldn’t find out home, so always dropped off halfway down the block…even after multiple calls and conversations. Never had a problem with UPS or USPS. I always keep a close eye on deliveries, because no one knocks anymore. Consider using a delivery management app.

I thought I was crazy or they were just getting stolen. My last 3 packages from FedEx have gone "missing." Same thing, no issues with USPS or UPS packages and the FedEx delivery photo shows the packages at my door. I get there 5 minutes later and no packages. No where around my home or with neighbors and had to report them stolen. Makes me think something shady is going on with FedEx too...

My theory is that the driver has someone following them on the route and by not ringing the doorbell giving them a window to snatch it up. Either that or snapping a pic and then just taking the package back to the truck.

Maybe! I just moved back into the city and have been ordering a lot of stuff to my new place. The only carrier I've been having issues with is FedEx.

In my experience FedEx is the worst of all the final mile carriers. They never ring the bell. Ive had them just tip packages over the railing on my stoop without ever leaving the sidewalk and then they're out on display for all the passersby. All of the other carriers, if they don't ring the door bell, they at least put the package in my empty recycle bin so it's sort of out of sight.

FedEx had never rang my doorbell, no matter what they're delivering. It's like that's a policy or something.

The worst is signature required stuff. Delivery people basically just see them as "unable to deliver" and the package will either go back or to a spot to get picked up. Or they'll just deliver it however they feel like.

I saw a story on a Cincinnati news site that a fed ex driver pulled over and just dumped a bunch of packages out and left. A good samaritan delivered them to the recipients. Something shady is going on at fed ex everywhere.

Luckily not missing, but their delivery had the least amount of courtesy knocks (UPS, USPS, and especially DHL are much better about it, Amazon is second worst; I think it all depends on a driver), I try to avoid using it altogether, and when it's the only option - I ship package via FedEx for pick up to a local FedEx store (they keep it there for a few days).

Just heads up if you want to use the pick up: I had a medium size package (think a printer) sent to a UPS store, they charged me $10 for some bullshit hold fee, even though I picked it up hours after delivery was made. Could be anecdotal, but that surely caught me off guard.
