Need the weird mayo sauce.
Peruvian puff peppers?
and thats about it, right?
That's the only Peruvian chicken spot I am aware of and have eaten at, if that's what you're asking.
yea def the only one i know of as well
I know where you can see a good Peruvian Flute Band
There's a new place near 4th and south, Brazas BBQ i think it's called. Had take out last week and thought it was good value and convenient.
Sardis is maybe a little better. Pio Pio is better than both (had when visiting NY)
El Balconcito I or II are the best in Philly imo. There is not a lot of Peruvian options here. We head into Jersey most of the time when we want Peruvian food.
What’d you get at Brazas? I walked by it on that 70 degree November Saturday and made a mental note to try it.
100%. I don’t know about Mayo sauce OP wants but Balconcito has this amazing green sauce that they need to bottle and sell by the gallon.
If you can travel to the suburbs, aji gallina at Quinoa in Doylestown is a good dish.
Sardis dark meat
And it's blah
Brazas on South street is the best polleria in Philadelphia. Their empanadas are terrific and I ordered the whole chicken combo the second time I visited. Perfectly seasoned and juicy
Half a chicken and some sides.
Didn't love the corn, the fries were good, had two other sides that were enjoyable but unremarkable (and unmenorable). The red and green sauces were really good. The chicken itself reminded more of rotisserie than a spit roasted.
i live in the the neighborhood so its super convenient. Pricing was reasonable and it was tasty.
The chicken at Sardis is pretty good. The sides can be hit or miss although most times they are decent.
Haven’t been but walked by this place in old city tonight

What’s Peruvian chicken seasoned with? It’s so good!
If anyone knows of a place like Crisp & Juicy in the Philly area, no joke I will do literally unspeakable things to you for a reference. Crisp & Juicy does flash baking chickens down in the DC area with spices packed under the skin at like 500F... It's like mainlining chicken power deliciousness. Let me know. Good luck OP.
Sardi's is so good. If someone told me those sauces came straight from Dick Cheney's teet, it still wouldn't stop me.
Are you familiar with Sardis? They're all over the DC area and they've opened up a location Philly.

Washington D.C.
Sadly, it isn't a thing here.
Sardi's isn't Peruvian chicken, and it's terrible.

Heard of aperuvian neck tie never a peruvian chicken are they just as deadly?

“terrible” ?! Lol
Not saying the person above you is right or wrong, but realize that rotisserie chicken to a Peruvian is like cheese steaks to a Philadelphian. They have opinions, and when you hear someone say they found a good one away from home, you listen.
