I have followed this story for years, and usually do a big deep dive into it about once a year or so—legitimately did that about a week ago, and thought “with all the DNA tracing that can happen now, they should be able to find a familial match to him at least…”

This was still huge when I was a little kid in Northeast Philadelphia in the 60's.

His marker is right around the corner from my MIL. This story is still difficult after all these years.
