Literally I moved out of Philly thanks to parking hell. I went from crazy garage parking rates living in center city to a 2 car garage in bucks. A spot rent in the city is almost an apartment rent it seems.

My range of travel is far too wide not to have a car.

the old "half the people commute outside of philadelphia because our abhorrent tax structure encourages companies to leave, so fuck you that's a personal choice for wanting to live in a city because you have to commute out of it". Love this thread

Anyone living in a dense urban center where space is limited (particularly an issue in old cities like Philly) should have to pay out the ass to park their unused private property on land that could be used for other things. Free parking in the 'burbs is mostly fine, there's lots of space still
