Then why else would it be illegal? Riddle me that, Batman. You have an interesting sense of logic.

You realize criminal negligence and child endangerment are specific crimes right? They have definitions. Leaving a child in a car is a summary offense. So is jay walking and littering.

"Pennsylvania law makes it illegal for a person to leave a child under the age of six unattended in a motor vehicle that is out of that person's sight and endangers the health, safety, or welfare of a child."
Again, WHY is it illegal in the first place? You keep avoiding that question.

This is the post I was responding to >It's ok to call criminal negligence for the endangerment of a child what it is.
Leaving a child in a car doesn't get you charged with criminal negligence. You're just reeing about semantics because you want to win an internet fight.

It certainly can if the child wasn't brought back safely. It's based on the outcome of your reckless or negligent action.

Yeah and speeding is a summary offense that can result in manslaughter if you cause a fatal accident.

There is nothing they can do anymore once they fucked up this badly. They aren't in control of the situation once they left their child behind. You can choose to stop speeding at any time up until you crash.
They aren't the same at all.

Don't bother, dude. He just downvotes you and comes up with another totally inappropriate "analogy"

Uh...if doing so puts the kid in danger, there's a good chance you;re gonna get charged with negligence or endangerment if it's reported. Seems like you're the one who really wants to "win" here for whatever reason. But hey; stay in your bubble. It apparently makes you happy.
