I met a person from Nebraska last night that had recently and it made me realize just how much shit we take for granted living in the Philly metro area. Just some of the things I realized after talking to my new friend for a few hours we’re eye opening.

Pizza Hut is the go to pizza spot. She said it’s usually better than a pizza shop out there.

Not much Chinese food. She said she only ever really saw Chinese people at the Chinese place and there was just one Chinese place in the town over from hers but not in her town.

Never had real Italian food, just Olive Garden twice.

Sushi. She never saw a sushi or Japanese place out there.

Close air ports. She said it was a 3 hour ride to the airport but if you had enough money you could fly to the big airport from a small one that was 45 minutes away in a private plane.

What kinda stuff did you guys notice when living/visiting away from the area that you thought was weird that we take for granted?
