So just outside Philly but Scrappy Cat in Lansdown (at Lansdowne & Baltimore Ave) they're fucking amazing. Thunderbird Salvage is an absolute cavalcade of delights. I used to adore Antiquarian's Delight but I believe they closed. Material Culture always has very cool (but pricey) stuff, ditto UrbanBurb. Jinxed has been hit-or-miss for me

If you're able, try antiquing out by lancaster. It's heaven

Outside of city limits Baltimore becomes a pike and no longer is an avenue.

Sorry, just a bugaboo.

Untrue, Baltimore becomes a pike at Springfield Rd. OP is correct in saying Baltimore Ave and Lansdowne.

I've gotten into Estate sales and while I don't fancy antiquities I've seen quite a bit of art and furniture for sale.

Is there a site that lists local estate sales that you know of?

Estatesales(dot)net

Punch in your zip code and the first few that come up are local and scheduled for that weekend. Sometimes they start on Thursday (mostly summer). The site usually let's you see what they are offering

Not what you're looking for, but Anastasia's on Bainbridge is fun to poke around in. I'm fairly certain it's a Needful Things type situation and everything in there is cursed.

It’s not exactly an antique store, but I’ve found some fabulous antiques at Philly Aid Thrift, all well under market value. Sometimes a complete steal. Pretty hit or miss, but I live close so I pop in frequently
