Hey everybody. Does anyone know of any Dominican neighborhoods? I know fairhill has a lot of Puerto Ricans, but I was looking specifically for Dominican spots. I've seen some Dominican bodegas, but it seems to just be that one store. My gf is Dominican and I'm just looking for an area with a lot of restaurants and stores that sell Dominican stuff.

Harrowgate and Juniata Park. Best barbershops too!

Kinda transitional but generally that area north of fairhill is a concentration, still fairly bouriqua but more of the other hispanic cultures. (east hunting park, juniata) But a lot of the hispanic north philly communities are moving to the lower northeast, along with most other immigrant groups.

Try north Philadelphia. There's a ton around York dauphin.

There's Vilmas on Howard and dauphin. There's El principal on Howard and Lehigh. There's corner stores galore. There's another nice spot called Boricua close to Girard and 3rd.(second one down aramingo)

El coque is super deep north in the badlandz but good food.

I'd say definitely anything west of berks station. There's also a spot on handcock and diamond. I forget the name but it's awesome Spanish food. A bit pricier.
