Even the morning after the super bowl the cop I asked about some of the weirder things on the police scanner summed it up with "There were some weird reports on the radio that turn out to be nothing and of course a few really stupid incidents you hear about on the news but it was mostly just crowd control. The overwhelming majority of people were just having a good time."
