Not to be an asshole, but someone in an FB group is not a reliable source. The MLB website is. I would not expect them to explicitly state all of the ways in which you CANNOT get tickets when they've made it clear how you CAN get tickets.

By nuance, no, because you’re stating that that just isn’t a thing they do at all, but from what they stated they would be if they had tickets to sell. So it is a possibility hypothetically if tickets were still available so fuck you.

To buy WS tix directly from the Phillies you had to either be a season ticket holder or win the lottery. There are no box office or day of game sales for the World Series.
