I’ve had arguments with my insurance company over this, because I didn’t have a police report after an accident and they “can’t believe that police don’t respond to accidents”. Umm, im in Philly. I’m lucky if I can get someone to answer when I call 911, let alone come out to the scene of an accident.

That has to be rough ! Like I’d gladly get a police report if 911 answered & the cops would show up in less than 3+ hours, but sadly that’s not the case. No one has time for the bullshit involved in getting Philly police to respond to a fender bender.

I’ve dealt with that too. its really weird to explain just how dysfunctional this city is to people who live in places where basic societal functions happen without issue.
