They also ran a segment later on (it's a 1-hour podcast total) about how a quarter of humanity lacks access to clean drinking water. I'm guessing this was the only (non local) daily news roundup to address any of this. Certainly did not make NPR's Up First, NYT's The Daily, BBC Global News Podcast, or WSJ's What's News.
