This is a really fun lineup. I wish they would go back to the lineup construction from the earlier picnics where they had a few well known indie rock artists.

Booking Lauryn Hill is always aggressive. She never shows up/or shows up on time. Love her music but she’s nuts.

I worked artist hospitality for the Roots Picnic for a couple years way back in the festival pier days. I look back with regret at the decision to resign that post knowing that I am no longer in a position to fetch Diddy a pint of Cambodian breast milk and hand it to him in front of Dave Chapelle.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. I was considering buying tickets to a tour of hers a few years back but when I read about people’s experiences, it just sounded like a headache.

Does anyone happen to know if they eventually did 1-day tickets in 2022?

The State Property reunion is probably the only act I’d want to see. Surprised Dave Chapelle is booked, I’d imagine this is going to cause protests.

I immediately thought that! She’s an amazing artist and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of my favorite albums of all time but it’s risky to book her since it’s never a guarantee she’ll show.

Here for Black Thought, State Property (Freeway and Friends this Friday night at Fillmore celebrating 20 years since Philadelphia Freeway!), Busta, Ari Lennox and more… but mostly just here for a good fucking time

Skipping Dave Chappelle Friday night since it’s ticketed separately

Wondering about the difference between GA and GA+ tho

Cool, are they going charge too much and turn Fairmount Park into a Parking lot for two days straight again?

Does anyone care about Diddy anymore?

Why can’t I find the price of tickets anywhere? For the main event and for Chappelle.

me and a friend had this same convo before she did a show in Nashville a few years ago. We skipped the tickets and she showed up, on time, and brought the house down.

Always regret not going

This lineup would of been amazing for 2003, even Chappell is hardly watchable, had to turn off his last two Netflix specials.

Lineup sucks after the major acts, last year's festival was a logistical nightmare with some acts not even performing or being hours late, and having Chappelle perform 10 miles away from the festival is kind of weird

holy shit, black thought/busta/eve might be enough to get me to brave the chaos

If I can get a single day ticket to see little brother I’m gonna be all over that. Wish they never moved the venue to the Mann tho
