Booking Lauryn Hill is always aggressive. She never shows up/or shows up on time. Love her music but she’s nuts.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. I was considering buying tickets to a tour of hers a few years back but when I read about people’s experiences, it just sounded like a headache.

me and a friend had this same convo before she did a show in Nashville a few years ago. We skipped the tickets and she showed up, on time, and brought the house down.

That’s a bummer you missed it.

I think part of my thinking was that I kind of hate navigating concerts that go as planned so if it was a shit show it would be compounded annoyance.

I immediately thought that! She’s an amazing artist and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of my favorite albums of all time but it’s risky to book her since it’s never a guarantee she’ll show.

to add, Wu-Tang shows up late for all their shows. Ghostace being the worst of them.

I don't think she still makes music, but she has been touring the same album for 25 years now.

Her show in Philly a few years back (PP) was fire. She’s fucking amazing. So glad I got the chance to see her and that she did the whole set.
