I would say that this is only time that other dog owners leaving bagged dog poop in anything but a trash can is acceptable, but I think we all know that this person is just going to toss the bags (and probably the tickets) right on the ground, so it's back to square one here...

Dog owners putting poop bags in trash cans isn't even that helpful. In my experience the trash guys often don't take it unless it is in proper garbage bag.

If you are going to throw your dog poop into someone else's trash either:

  • Make sure it is a small enough trash bin that the garbage men can lift and dump the entire bin into the back of the truck.
  • Or find a loosely tied bag of trash and slip it in.

The garbage guys are pretty awesome when it comes to picking up doggy doo-doo bags in my neighborhood. Three different times now when I've been out walking my pup, they've seen me with a poop bag and offered to take it off my hands.

You need a parking ticket from the PPD in order to clear the way (legally) for towing.

Somebody has had 3 tickets on his car that’s been left on my street for the last 3-4 months. They got the 3 tickets in a relative short succession (parking more than 2 hours as a non-resident) early on. Since then they seem to have left him alone. I see people getting no tickets in a loading zone right across the street on a daily basis but for some reason they don’t seem to compelled to give him that 4th or have it towed. It’s the weirdest thing.

Man I'm conflicted here. Dude definitely deserves some street justice for parking like a twat but also fuck dog owners that leave their dog shit wherever. What is the car owner gonna come take these bags and find a trash can for them? Fuck no they're just gonna throw them on the sidewalk or street.
