Second this if you’re looking to visit another city.

DC, Baltimore, NYC, Boston, and the other random smaller cities in between are all only a few hours on Amtrak from 30th street. Gotta love the northeast corridor.

Lancaster is only an hour away by train too. I haven't been, but there's enough train frequency to make it an easy day trip.

The city of Lancaster has a bunch of good food and cool shops. Great place to walk around.

DC has the added benefit of plenty of free museums
